Obtain your Spanish Digital Certificate online

A Digital Certificate in Spain is like a digital ID card. It lets you securely access online government services, sign documents electronically, and handle official paperwork without visiting offices in person. It's especially useful for tasks like filing taxes, accessing health records, or submitting forms to various agencies. 

The certificate's validity depends on your choice. You can select a duration from 1 to 5 years. Once it expires, you'll need to renew it to continue using the digital services. 

We charge €30 (plus 21% VAT) per year of validity, up to 5 years. So, a 4-year certificate would cost €145,20 (one-time payment). 

 After entering your details, you'll need to upload:

• Your NIE number copy
• Your passport copy
• A photo of you holding your passport's front page

Usually about 3 business days after your application. Our partner, Uanataca, will email you once everything's verified. You can download your certificate right after getting their email. 

Yes, if you have a Spanish NIE. But the FNMT website process can be tricky, as it's mostly in Spanish. There's no video ID option for NIE applications, so you'd need to visit an office in person. If your Spanish isn't great, bringing a translator is a good idea.
